And means that I have no internet. Due to not having a working computer.

Oh, how things can change.
Ok, my last little rant. Great fun, that.
But now it's time for updates.
Short updates because I have to be ready to go to work in 15 minutes and I'm still sitting here in my PJ's like a lunatic.
I'll be posting later about a trip to Vegas (first time going), a trip to Yosemite (again, first time), and a trip to Monterey Bay Aquarium (haven't been in forever).
But before I get into all that goodness.
The army boy and I are not talking right now. He's stopped talking to me because my roommate's been talking a lot of shit. And so I've stopped talking to him because I'm sick of dealing with immature high school bullshit. I hate the little kid drama. And being the fact that I'm 23, I feel I've dealt with more then my fare share of it.
In the meantime, the boy has been wooing me. Started with the trip to Vegas. And then after he took care of my uber drunken ass, I realized that he really did genuinely have a thing for me. After all, how many guys will stick with you while you're being wheeled around in a wheelchair because you're too drunk to walk, have no shoes on, lost your panties somewhere, am covered in puke, and holding onto a red biohazard bag that is your impromptu puke bag. (As I said, more on this later) Anyways, we got back home and spent a week getting to know each other on a much more personal level. And when we went to Yosemite on Saturday, I decided to stop being stubborn and just say yes to the boy. He'd asked me to date him a few times already. And after spending the day with him in Yosemite, I cracked.
So I'm now together with the boy. Completely 100%.
Laughable, ain't it?
Now I'm off to dry my hair and be dressed in 5 minutes! Whoo!

Don't read this if you don't enjoy sex + cussing.
You say that you don't want anything more then friends from me. There's no attraction on your end. So I give up on my emotions and throw them out the door, content to just be your friend. I finally started being able to see you as just a friend. Besides, you have your senorita that you're trying to get with. So it's all good.
3 weeks later, your friend is visiting from the army. He arrives on Tuesday. Leaves the following Monday. You know that he was sleeping with me. You know. Because I told you. It didn't phase you at all. Instead you high-five me and tell me that you'll be my back-up for when he's gone. I agree, but honestly I still just see you as a friend. There's no more chemistry towards you.
You go to Vegas with him. And somewhere along the lines you decide that you really care for me and that you miss me. EVEN THOUGH I JUST FUCKED YOUR FRIEND FOR A WEEK.
And now you want to ask me out when you get back from the Vegas trip.
And not only that, but you've told everyone of your intentions to do so.
So I have everyone asking me what I'm going to say. And I honestly don't know. I don't want to break you down because I'm still too nice of a fucking person to be able to tear people down. But I am still madly attracted to your friend.
I want to have more wild crazy times with him. It was amazing and unbelievable being with him.
And I just think about him. Not about you.
And I know that it's nothing that either of us can control.
But I was rejected and I got over it.
So what the FUCK changed your mind?! And what the fuck happened to your senorita that you were still talking about while I was sleeping with your friend?! What the fuck did your friend say to you? What was said on that damn car ride?!
I'm tearing myself apart right now. I have no idea what to do. I just wish that you'll change your mind and chicken out and not ask me.
This makes me such a bitch. But I don't want to deal with this right now.
And I'm really peeved about it.

5. Marshmallows and fire go together like candles and fragrance.
6. Work keeps going on and on.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to Lori's party, tomorrow my plans include hanging out with the boy and Sunday, I want to knit at the super knit bowl!
Ive been working 12 hour shifts the past 3 days. 3p-3a. And it's killing me.
I have no energy or time to do anything else.
As I'm typing this, the last of the huge ol' energy drink I downed is sinking out of me.
And I'm ready to crash.

Oh, the stories they could tell.
And the things they could say.
But I don't care about any of those.
I'm in a state of pure bliss at the moment.
Nothing's really gone on that's different. I'm just happy.
Inexplicably and undeniably happy.
I've gotten rid of so many negative things.
And I've become much better at managing and not stressing out.
The boy and I are just going to be friends.
And I'm really quite happy and fine with that.
Once I sat down and started thinking about it, I realized one thing.
I still don't feel ready for a relationship.
So it's good that it worked out that way.
The last 2 days I've worked 12 hr shifts.
I'm wiped out right now.
But I'm stoked because that means I can move out sooner.
And that always makes me happy.
2009 is really looking to be a great year for me.
And forget the past.
I can't wait to see what the future holds for me.
I'm such a damn optimistic right now. Lol.

Well this is a first...
Went out with some people from work for a few drinks. You know.
To celebrate the fact that we survived working on a Saturday.
And just to relieve some stress that comes from running all our machines up to 2 bodies short.
When I asked the boy if I should have a beer for him...
He told me to "Have two...no three!"
He's a bad influence on me. Haha.
So Jeff was buying up pitchers.
I had 4 beers.
Plus 4 Midori Sours.
Paid nothing for the beers. And only paid for 3 of the Midori Sours.
I hope I did the boy proud.
As promised.
Hat!
Shut up. I went a little picture happy. So sue me! I was proud, ok?

That makes it that much more lovely.

Second time working on this pattern. So 'twas super simple. I will probably make more later. But not now. I still need to make one for me. Haha! Update on the 101 in 1001
09: I've sucked my soda intake down to one a day or less. I've been a water fanatic. It's great!
19: I've definitely become more honest. With family, no. But in general, yes. The boy knows more about me then quite a few people. Including exes. Weird. Of coarse it helps that he doesn't seem to judge me and accepts me with my past and my issues and my flaws.
20: I'm knitting for charity like woah. So yea. That knocks this one out of the ballpark. But I want to do more then that. We'll see!
28: Thanks to Steve from work, I have more friends. D&D, folks. It's amazing!
29: I went out drinking tonight and I'm out almost every Sunday all day until 1am. I don't know how much more out of the house I can get. Lol.
31: For the first time in a long time, I've been happy. And it's genuine. None of that fake bull. Pure, genuine happiness.
49: I haven't smoked a single cigarette since the week before Thanksgiving. Yay! Now just have other habits like picking at my fingers to break.
64: I made a hat. That's a lot. Lol. There's far more to come in the year, but I'm proud of myself for getting it going this early on.
89: There's been a lot of change going on. And I've finally managed to accept it.
9/101 done. Not bad, eh? I don't think so. Haha!

3. During the day, I am finally feeling happy again.
4. Don't get my hopes up; are you kidding me???
5. Right now I'd like to be hanging out and having good times.
6. A potato masher is my favorite gadget.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to working, tomorrow my plans include working for time and a half of pay and Sunday, I want to see the boy and play D&D!
Wow. I felt happy before. But getting to see my Jenn today made my day that much better. I miss her so much. I love how I have no guards up when I'm with her and we can tell each other everything. And it feels so natural. I need more people like that. Really.
I'm really looking forward to my life going up from here. Sure, times still get bad and I still get really down from time to time, but I'm feeling a lot more optimistic instead of being in the negative. I'm still afraid to fully put myself out there, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to break down my shell and just be who I want to be, other people be damned. I'm becoming more comfortable with myself. And I've been needing that for a loooong time, let me tell you.

Well slap me silly and call me nerdy.
Or don't. Who knows, I may just like it.

I've officially been sucked into the wonderful world of D&D.
And the boy has made this increasingly easy by making my character for me.
Jeez, I'm spoiled!
Sunday knitting hasn't happened for 3 weeks for me.
I've been getting my nerd on!
After we played on Sunday, we went back to Steve's and watched [Rec] which is the original Spanish version of Quarantine. And the originals are always the best!
Then we watched Revolver while we ate Little Ceasers cheapy pizza and smoked some stuff on the hookah. It was great fun.
I finished my first project for the year!
It's the lovely Lacy Cap made from the yarn I got in the Twilight Swap. I'd put in all the stats, but I'm feeling lazy. Go figure. Ain't it gorgeous, though?
On a not-so-light note.
I pulled a tendon in my wrist.
Wth, man. I'm 23 years old. I have tendinitis in both of my knees and now I pulled a tendon in my wrist.
I'm old. :(
It wouldn't be so bad, but working at a place where you use your hands a lot can kinda kill.
It's all good though. I get sympathy points at work. ;)
And from the boy.
Meh.

Blech Blech Blach
The past two days have been nothing but cleaning. Cleaning my room.
And cleaning at work.
At least I get paid to clean at work. But it's harder work and really wears you down.
Damn the audits.
The boy is still greatly entertaining. I'm feeling good about this. But we'll have to see.
Who wants to see knitting group pictures?! Anyone?
Too bad, because you're getting them!
First, updates on the cabbage stitch scarf. I have to buy another skein. One skein got me half of the scarf.
The color is still not coming out, but you get the gist of it!

Ain't it cute? Hell yes it is! And it's super soft and scooshy too.
And this is the Yelley with her boy:
She's showing him how to do short rows for his hat. Yes, he knits.
It's great fun. But we're nice and don't fawn over him. Haha.
So that's knitting group. Yup yup.
Wolf is going to be moving out. We can't deal with each other anymore, especially since I'm ready to move on and she can't let go. Makes for some bad time, you know?
I haven't had a cigarette since the week of Thanksgiving. Crazy, eh? I'm proud of myself, though.
I don't want to pick it up again. I need to learn to deal with things instead of smoking them away.
Haha. I'm Dr. Phil now. Whoo!
Alright, that's it for now. I'm feeling grungy and groggy and I just want to knit. Whoo!

So it's 6am...
And I haven't had a wink of sleep yet. Haha. This boy is just too much fun.
I'm going to be out of it today. And I'm already out of it.
Can't wait for knitting group and coffee.
Though I doubt I'll be doing much knitting. Lol.

Who let the dogs out?!
I didn't. That's for sure. And they're both in there, just so you know. Lurking under the bandanna is my missy.
I'mma shoot to have my 101 in 1001 list up by next post.
Though I doubt it will happen.
New song is up. More Matt Costa goodness. He makes me smile.
I'm trying to test knit a stitch for someone, but I can't grasp how they want the yarn to wrap around the needles. I've tried everything, and my result just keeps looking like garter stitch. I'm frustrated. And now I don't want to knit. That's pathetic. But I have some other patterns that I can work on when they arrive, which I'm looking forward to. I don't think I'll take on stitch testing again. I'm too much of a visual learner. I'm going to cross my fingers and hope I can get it. If not, I'll have to let the designer know and feel bad. Poop.
I'm looking forward to taxes this year. I'm going to use the return for good this time, instead of just blowing it. I'll still blow some, but not the whole thing. I have bills to pay. -le sigh-
Going on a semi-blind date on Sunday. My friend's trying to get me together with his friend because we're both nerdy and weird. Haha. His words, not mine. Though I claim both on a regular basis. ;) Hopefully this turns out well. I need distractions.
