This was a relatively quick knit. The ribbing took forever. Made it for a friend I work with to keep her face warm since she's constantly going in and out of the cold. Hope it helps her out a bit.

Not a whole lot else has been going on. Knitting group has been going really well. It's still mainly just a few of us, but I love everyone there, so it's all good. We've all gotten over any awkwardness now that we know each other better, and I'm having fun. Which is what I wanted. :]

Sunday I will be learning how to play Dungeons and Dragons. Hahaha! That's what I get for making friends with nerds all the time. I can't help it, though. I fit in so well! ;)

I'm absorbed in knitting, but I haven't really made enough progress to really show for it. I'm almost done with the Danica scarf. Haha. Lame. I've been crazy about watching the Lifetime channel, too. I'm weird.

I think I'm off to knit/watch tv/clean for a bit. We may be going to see Twilight tonight. About damn time! Ugh. Hope everyone's enjoying their Saturday!

1. Holiday Shopping in Stores or Online? Stores. Meh. I hate shopping online and avoid it whenever possible.

3. Holidays at Home or Visiting Others? We don't visit people, but I would love to be able to do that. To me it would make it that much better.

Busted knuckles. Just one of the joys of working in a box factory. It's a combination of tons of tiny cuts as well as a burn from my hand rubbing up against the boxes to begin with. Ew. It hurts. And makes knitting ouchy. But I don't care. I'm an addict. Suck it up. ;)

I made these for the charity tree that they have every year at the mall. I always try to make something to send along to the kids. I made the girl a pink fun fur scarf and made these gloves for the boy we picked. It's so much fun. I love doing that every year. Makes me feel really good.

Acoustic Christmas next round!

I've been in a knitting lull lately. It goes away as soon as I start knitting. But it takes a lot for me to pick up the damn needles and get going. I think it's probably because I've gone from hardly knitting to knitting about 3 times a week minimum with the knitting group. Not that there's anything wrong with that. It's just more then I'm used to. But that's good because I'm being far more productive now! I mean look at that scarf! Were it not for the group, it would probably only be at 10" right now. Amazing, eh? And since my gift list grew a bit since I decided to love a bit on some coworkers, it's a really good thing that I'm in knitting group. Lawl. I'm lame.

I've come to the realization that I don't know what people's appeal to me is.
I'm really a horrible person.
But everyone says that I'm fun.
I'm a bitch. I have no trouble admitting that. I have no shame. I don't even have enough shame to care, really. I'm how I am. I can place that on a screwed up childhood, but isn't that what everyone does? And I'm too far gone to really care to change.
I just don't get it though. I'm really not a nice person. But everyone thinks I am. No matter what I do or what I say. And I don't like that.
Is it just that no one sees the real me? Or that they're just too off to notice?
Meh. I don't really care. I just don't get it...

Anywho, I just got done with a New Moon swap (haha, I'm a Twilighter for sure now) and I got the package that was absolutely amazing from my partner! I haven't switched the picture from my phone to my computer yet, but I'll do that in time for my next post. I promise. And maybe by then she'll have received her package and I can post up information on the bag I knitted for her. Yay!

I'm off now to get my swap package together so I can ship it out!
